Thorens TD-160 MKI

I ran across a good deal on a 160 locally through craigslist, gave it a good clean up including the suspension springs and grommets, adjusted the arm bearings, adjusted the azimuth on the headshell (TP16), cleaned the belt adjusted the suspension, relubed the bearing and mounted an old Denon DL-110. I wasn't expecting much from this bargain but it has a way with music that keeps your attention, compared to my 1200 MKII it has better depth and layering and an in the room presence that the 1200 (stock) doesn't do. The 1200 sounds flat and bland in comparison, time to duck and take cover.

Question for 160 or Thorens owners in general, where do I go from here, keep the arm or replace it or maybe an arm rewire, new plinth, new base with spikes etc.? Thanks in advance.
