RE: My Jelco SA 750D arrived today and

I would contact Bes at Music Direct (U.S. distributor for Avid) to see if they have a mounting plate specifically designed for that arm. I'm not sure if the Linn mounting plate that was provided with the 250ST is the right one. It's probably close but Jelco specifies a different mounting distance for the 2 arms and another inmate has identified some issues regarding the recommended mounting distance for the 750D arm.

Also, I read in the FAQ section on the Avid website that fluid damping causes high frequency roll off with their tables so I would forego the damping fluid.

I'm happy with the 250ST on my Diva II for now but would like to know how it all works out with the 750D arm.
