RE: Time to try something new... VPI Scout successor?

Why not try some platter mats made with different materials to help with the signature sound of an acrylic platter. My last table had an acrylic platter, very nice sounding but lacked that emotional involvement. My latest project is an idler drive Rek O Kut table, even in the stock box plinth it has that Prat thing going on with a Jelco arm and Denon DL-160.
