the 78s you'll be stressing them at the edges which is very bad news. Especially many younger ones which are often more brittle.
I don't use 78 albums for that reason, as you need to open the books and turning the records as pages puts all sorts of stress on them. Also beware of using old paper / card as I've read that it can harbour bugs/mites that just love eating shellac. That might be an urban myth, but I don't use any vintage covers for 78s.
Use modern light card or heavy paper sleeves and store them upright.
