Dear Members,
I have the upgrade bug. My first cartridge was a grado platinum, then a grado sonata. Liked them both, but I am looking for a bit more detail, finesse. These grado lines sound good, but I am sure they do not sound as good as the masters, reference, etc. I find that my grado's sound laid back, vocals are great, but just lack that certain soundstage, detail. I was looking into purchasing the grado master, but found great reviews about the ortofon 2m black. It's a high output cartridge(like my grado's 5.0mv) which is best suited for my phonostage. Any members out there that can guide me in the right direction for the right choice. thanks
