and tracks heavier than I would recommend. You can upgrade considerably without spending too much money and it will unleash your Technics' performance. Once you get your new cart take the time to set it up properly.
When I was young (I think I was once)I replaced my Garrard SP25 with a Fons turntable, at ten times the cost. It was a massive leap and although the rest of my system was very modest the difference was amazing.
So go for it - if you search through the archive here you'll find plenty of recommendations. I'm sure someone else will contribute with suitable carts for your Technics.
