a Dual could be better if you want an auto turntable. Depends on the age of the records you are playing. The older they are the less satisfactory an auto tt will be.
For more serious 78 playing a Lenco is a good place to start as it has variable speeds, very old 78s aren't always 78rpm.
If you want a new 78 TT look at the KAB or Esoteric Sounds websites, they are also good sources of information.
Don't forget you'll need a mono switch and tone controls too as most 78s were recorded with different equalisation to LPs. Special phono stages with 78 EQ are available, there's a basic one available from KAB I think.
