RE: You realize that Stoki's is his own arrangement, right? (nt)

Years ago, my family and I were visiting the garden of remembrance where my grandfather's ashes had been scattered. We wandered around the adjacent cemetary and were shocked to find Stokowski's grave, rather overgrown and neglected. Happily the following year it had been tidied up and looked cared for.

I've always been intrigued by his mono LP recording of Holst's planets - the ending of Neptune the mystic is so different to anyone else's I've heard. His stereo version is different again, more "normal".

Any thoughts?
