Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

Classical music on LP is vinyl software. It belongs here.

The equipment we discuss here would be soulless and dead without the amazing array of art that's been pressed in the last hundred and ten or so years. So we should discuss music of any sort on this forum, I've recently posted here regarding Edward R. Murrow's I Can Hear It Now LP because his voice makes an impact on me.

Anything to do with record playing should be here, not in Vintage or Music.

The biggest sadness is that we can't discuss new classical performance releases on vinyl because it was dumped by the classical music industry two decades ago. They believed the hype.

Are there any new classical LPs?

What's spinning now? (09:30 in the UK) Muzsikás - Blues for Transylvania.

Last week I replaced a broken cantilevered Shure M97xE with a Shure M75ED/SAS stylus in an SME 3009-II arm in my mono single speaker system. It's breaking in very well and has more millivolts than the M97. Wouldn't have considered the stylus upgrade without advice from Vinyl Inmates.

It's all relevant, if not of interest to all.
