ROK Painting (Casteronandtubes)

I snapped a few pictures of my 12BGH that I painted with hammerlite last week. There is no need to strip out all the mechanicals before painting. Just put masking tape around the inside edge of the platter well then take a plastic shopping bag from the grocery store, fold the edge of the bag inward a few inches and adhere the bag to the exposed tape, this will protect all the mechanicals. Take the selector knob and speed indicator plate off and tape off the speed selector post, from underneath, pry the tab up a little on the clip that holds the light in place, shimmy the light upwards a bit and tape it off. Assuming you have already prepped the table it is ready for painting, I left it in the original box plinth for painting convenience. I wait a day before removing the tape and the plastic bag. The pictures are lousy but you get the idea, you can see the tape along the edge, I didn't tape the whole thing I just wanted you to see the method I used.

Thanks to everyone that gave me painting tips before starting my project.
