Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

there's nearly 70 of them -

by Marshall Cavendish in the UK, sold weekly/fortnightly, I've forgotten which, in the early/mid eighties. They also sold matching cases to put the LPs in and binders for the books.

Three labels contributed (all part of the same group then), DGG, Decca and Philips, I think. They all had the same black label with the original company logo at the top, in yellow for DGG, silver for Decca and Philips.

Almost all were good performances, good pressings and a cheaper way to get some Decca SXLs. And with a full colour explanatory book. I've got most of them - the last ten or so were operatic performances. A few famous LPs were included in the series.

The series was later re-issued on CD...........
