No, and no. Cryogenic treatment changes the material at a molecular level by filling voids through crystallization. Whether it favorably affects the performance of wire in a run as short as is found in a tonearm remains to be seen, in my opinion. In fact, I would be skeptical of the treatment in any wire that we are likely to use. As far as the clips are concerned, you may want to consider where it all stops. If the clips need to be cryo treated, wouldn't each of the pins mounted to the cartridge also need to be treated? What about the coils inside the cartridge? What about the cantilever?
