What do the HiFi News anti-skate bands really sound like?

It's been so long since I've ran a Shure V15 III with SME 3009 that I've forgotten what it sounds like to track the HiFi News anti-skate test bands perfectly. Are these clear tones or are they slightly piercing? What they sound like now is loud and shrill forward tones with a slight edge/buzz to them....as opposed to pure pulse tones. I'm not talking about the really obvious buzz as in when the cartridge mistracks on the last band or at any point during the anti-skate test. All I'm saying is that the tones are not clean sounding. So I'm wondering if my tracking is way off or if that's just how these sound. During the first three tracks there is no random buzzing in either channel and both channels sound relatively equal.
