My Empire 598 III has some crud on the outer surface of the subplatter where the drive belt rides on it.The crud looks like is from an old belt that decayed in place.
It does not readily rub off and has not been removed by the solvents that I had around the house. [alcohol, paint thinner, Goo Gone, nail polish remover (acetone substitute), soap].
Any ideas?
David
