I've been trying to decide between a couple of different older direct drive units. Basically I'm looking at the Dual 721 and 704, but I'm wondering how these would compare sonically and performance wise to some of the Luxman tables. Is there anyone who is familiar with a variety of these units who could comment? I've heard the Duals are very smooth sounding, with lovely midrange and excellent bass. Don't know much about the Luxmans.....
