I would not recommend a unipivot arm such as the Mayware Formula 4 with the LP12. They typically don't work too well on that table. There are any number of good gimbled arms, including the Linn arms, which will work well on LP12's. Used Linn arms are a pretty good buy for the quality, but your budget and the compliance of your MC is going to determine the best choices. Do not get a heavy arm as you may have problems with the suspension on the LP12.
The three Linn arms that can manage an MC cartridge are the Akito, Ittok, and Ekos. I would suggest an Ittok to begin with. Ittoks are usually good buys on the used market, and in spite of the hype, rarely suffer from bearing damage. Ekos is an excellent arm, but is about twice the price as a used Ittok.
