Is that I have to use silicone dampening to eliminate sibilance and upper midrange distortion. I believe but have no way to prove it that the Grado suspension system requires quite a bit of tonearm control to eliminate resonance from effecting the overall sound of the cartridge.I do not believe the JWM arms provides for adequate resonance adjustability for the finicky Grado cartridges.
It is interesting that the person that sold me my Grado wood body and many other AudioGon sellers of Grado wood bodies are typically VPI customers.
You should do a little more research before chosing a Grado IMHO.
