It's a Grado 'Laboratory Series) table from the mid 60s. Yes it uses 2 12 pole hysteresis synchronus motors and is belt drive. No I don't have photographic memory> I have the 1964 Stereo Review annual. It's also a Grado arm and probably a Grado pickup(a moving coil - Grado had the patent on that).This is from memory so I'm not sure but I believe there is a sub platter/flywheel below the top of the plinth(base) so there is a bearing below that and a horizontal bearing at the top of the base, a very interesting design.
