Need tube phono preamp recommendations...for smooth, robust, warm, punchy sound

I'm currently in the process of trying to learn about what's out there in terms of phono preamps. I've been using vintage integrated tube amps and I want to put together a separates system now. I tend to favor a very smooth sound. I like my music warm, romantic, and seductive. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to anything that is bright, harsh, grungy, or edgy. I prefer the Quad 57 or triode type of smooth and magic midrange. The other issue is that I listen to mostly rock. I need a phono preamp that is extremely natural that doesn't add any nasty artifacts to the signal. I'd prefer something also that leaned toward the robust, fleshy, warm, and thick side of neutral...but also very sophisticated. My budget is under $500 used. I realize that isn't a lot of money to spend considering the performance I am expecting, but I also know that in every aspect of audio...there are ways to have excellent performance without spending a truckload of money. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations.
