I have been robbed like that and I gave the guy my chump wad, he just grinned as if to say "Do you think I just rolled off the turnip truck" and pressed the blade harder at which point I removed the wad I had in my sock and handed it over, he nodded approvingly and gave me a $20 back which was either some sort of a Phillipine custom or perhaps he was a conservationist type bandit where the $20 would allow me to stay alive so I could be robbed again in the future, I'm not sure which but I did think it was a rather nice touch, and it's a safe bet the sociopath that's selling audiophile cryogenic treatments, magic rocks to put on your loudspeaker or $1000 IC's definately isn't going to give even a $.01 back.

And of course I was being facetious, but if I
was absolutely guaranteed not to be shanked in the process I would rather have my hard earned ones go to the guy that robbed me, than the IRS or any of the audiophile hucksters etc.
