Yes, I've gotten good results on my modded Decca from both the Shure and the Grado Platinum. The Grado house sound is BIG (a soundstage you can get lost in) and warm and quite energetic for all that, while the Shure excels in tonal neutrality and excellent timing, especially in an arm like the Decca. While the Shure also has a somewhat warm sound, it sounds "whiter" than the Grado, in comparison veering towards the analytical. I would keep the Shure, order the Grado, and have fun swapping them in and out.
