I am interested in thoughts on cartridge ergonomics and the merits, or otherwise, of different cartridges. By ergonomics, I mean issues such as:Is the cantilever clearly visible from above for easy alignment and cueing?
Is the cantilever clearly visible from the side for easy checking of VTA?
Is it stylus angle easy to see to check rake angle?
Is it easy to see if there is dirt or fiber on the stylus?
If you can’t easily see the cantilever from above, is it easy to align the cartridge body?Is the cantilever well protected from accidental damage?
Is it easy to mount the cartridge in a fixed headshell arm without removing the arm?
Are the pins clearly color coded?
Do the cartridge dimensions allow adequate space for clip connection in a small headshell?David
