Claudio Arrau's complete Nocturnes on Philips 1997 DUO CD 456 336-2 is my favourite. I also have the later 96/24 release. Neither it or the older release sound as good as the 1997 DUO release for some reason. I have not been able to find Arrau's Nocturnes vinyl yet but am still looking.
The only Vinyl version I have is Vasary on DGG. I'm not normally a big DGG fan but Vasary's Nocturnes 11-20 are my most played record.
As other posters mentioned, Rubenstein and Pires are very popular. Search in the Music Asylum and you will find a lot more opinions.David
