Re: Yellow Dog Blues

One of the two top Audiophile stereo Lps, according to the Absolute Sound article of about 15 years ago. That article has much information on the label and its founder, E.D. Nunn. The other one to look for is Muskrat Ramble on AP-56. Early pressings were on lovely red vinyl. These have stunning sound. Recorded in Nunn's living room with a big Bosendorfer piano. He was a true recording genius and would be much better known if he had recorded more mainstream jazz instead of the traditional style jazz he so loved. Nunn also recorded a few classical titles, of which only one is in stereo(ap-110 Mozart: Horn duos!). The best of Nunn's records are early 78 microgroove discs-scary good. Hope you
