My guess is that your main problem is the Akito 1 tonearm.I had a Linn Basik / Akito 1 and it made records sound really noisy.
I eventually concluded that the primary problem was probably that the Akito 1 resonated at a frequency that amplified surface noise. It took me a while to reach this conclusion as the Akito looked good and I couldn't believe that it was the source of the problem.
I think that changing to a better tonearm will make a huge difference for you and the Ittok is probably an excellent choice.
As an interim step, you may want to try damping the Akito tonearm and see if it makes a difference. I would try wrapping the tube with teflon or vinyl tape. Cheap, easy, and easy to reverse. A search will probably find some other possibilities.
Good luck
David
