The Shure is most happy at one gram so the cantilever is centered. With the brush down on your arm you should be at 1.5 gram. make sure you play with the arm height and the anti-skate will be all over the map as it is a spring thing. My 1200 is at 1 3/4 anti-skate set with a scope on the third band of the same test record you are using. If you have headphones simply turn the anti-skate so the miss tracking is even in both channels. The 1200 arm is very low in friction and some what lively at low tracking forces. The KAB dampener is well worth the bucks as an upgrade and no I do not for them.
