Re: Grado replacement

Hello Dan,
if You bought the Grado for the "Grado sound" then the Goldring might not be Your cup of tea. The Goldring is more uptempo and dynamic and a little harder in the highs and it certainly doesn't have the wonderful way with the human voice the Grado has. The Goldring is a fine cartridge for jazz or rock, but for classical and everything where a human voice is important I prefer the Grado. When I asked a few weeks ago whether replacement styli for my TLZ were still available, I was told yes and for some 200$ + postage.
