Re: Rick - re your Grado Master, Morch and the Blue armtube:

Thanks Rick - I have spoken to John Grado and others at Grado, and was specifically wondering why Moerch rec's one thing and Grado another, albeit not experimentally (I have been using Grado's in some configuration or another since 1980).

I know Grado is NOT a fan of unipivot arms, and of course they test using their own now long discontinued but highly regarded tonearm. What you were told mirrors by Grado mirrors the experience of a friend of mine. What is interesting is that mass alone is the criteria that Grado is using, and barring any direct experience with the Moerch arms, who can blame 'em.

SO the mystery continues, but I and others tend to use armwands heavier than those on the Moerch "list," now dated and far from comprehensive...

Thanks for your reply, it is appreciated.

-Kurt
