Turntables dont make bad music poeple make bad music :)

Sorry, had to say that lol
I didn't know you had Kurt set your table up at his shop. He did the same for me and I drove the table home slowly on the back seat of my car. Not the best way to set up this table but the best I could do in Phoenix. Kurt was professionally trained by Linn and he does a good job at it. But I don't think he's as talented as some of the well known Linn guys I've heard about on the east coast. Took him 4 days of poking my table to get the bounce right. I don't think it was ever perfect. Add that to the fact I had to move the table then place it in my home. Reading the Linn FAQ thats a big no no. Over all I think he did a good job for what i paid.

I didn't know he actually had your table in for service. That he overhauled the table like he did mine and actually replaced one gormet and a spring. From reading your posts a few years back I thought that you did this mostly yourself. You figured that if its not going to sound good its not worth paying more money for someone else to overhaul the deck. Also I beleive you didn't have that table on something light and rigid. Maybe I missed a few of your posts.

I've allways had the impression all this time that you didn't give the LP12 a fair shake. Forgive me if I assumed wrong ;)
