Re: Grado Dance

The Stanton needed a new Stylus creating a total cost of around $40. The Grado coming in at $49. I had to way the differences, Grado being a bit more musical (so I'm told), and brand new (returnable/refundable/exchangable). This is why I chose the Grado.
I feel that it is a combo of "Grado dance," and arm/cart missmatch due to the 212's low mass. I was told at the HI-FI shop, that the Grado would have to track a bit heavier than the 1.5g's it normally wants. I'm at 2g's and the problem is not as painfull, but is still a problem. I have six more days to either fall in love with the Grado or get money back, try another Grado Green, or trade for a Sumiko Oyster. So I figure it's getting time to decide. Know how the Sumiko would work with the Philips?
Thanks for the replies!
