I live in Alaska. Bought my LP12 used at Audiogon. No manual. I learned the setup online. I think the main thing is the suspension, it's easy to get the springs twisted. the simple solution is to sightly pull them down and release so that the twist is relieved. I set it up on 4 soup cans to get underneath, leave the base off when your done, sounds better.
