Isolation Transformer for the Linn LP12 Lingo PS?

There is a Linn LP12 Forum at www.extremephono.com which has a useful 24 page FAQ about the TT. In this, mention is made of the fact that the Lingo injects hash into the wall powerlines - so you should make sure you plug it into a separate spur from your preamps/amps if you are able.

Can anybody advise whether using an isolation transformer between the Lingo and the wall would help with this problem (I'm thinking that the hash might not be transmitted back to the primary winding)?

Also, would an isolation transformer do any good as far as the Lingo itself was concerned (ie. the sound of the LP12)?

Any clues, anyone??
