The Trampolin was designed for people who put their LP12 on wobbly bits of ordinary furniture instead of quality HiFi stands, of better still a wall mounted support. If you used half decent supports the LP12 was better off without the trampolin. So it was only an 'upgrade' in certain circumstances - which doesn't mean that it was a bad idea. So your first upgrade might be to look at what you put your LP12 on. I use a light, ridged, wall mounted shelf.
Assuming you like your turntable, arm, cartridge combination -
Have a look in the FAQ section for the Linn notes, or search the archives for threads discussing power supplies, the Cirkus bearing, and subchassis mods. There is a wealth of information in there. The LP12 must be one of the most tweaked turntables ever, but opinions vary widely on the benefit of some upgrades.
If you go for a Lingo power supply or the cirkus bearing mod try to listen to them first as they are both expensive. Cirkus alters the sound of the turntable, I liked mine but not everyone has.Regards,
Andy.
Currently use a 1983 vintage LP12, Alphason HR100, Dynavector Karat 17II, + Cirkus Upgrade and DIY Armageddon clone power supply.
