I bought a used Cadenza Black a few years ago, owner claimed it to have 500 or 600 hours, So I bought it for $750. Best cartridge I have heard in my system. Smooth highs, accurate soundstage, defined and strong bass, etc. It still sounds good, despite the hours. I never get tired of it. I am a big Ortofon fan, the Cadenza Black is similar to the Kontrapunkt B, but is improved in all aspects. Mine rides a little low, but is still going strong. I have it installed on an Origin Live Encounter tonearm.
