Hmmm, this is a tough one. I like the look of the Project--simple lines, and the Thorens certainly has a classic look too. I don't really like the arm on either one, however.
In the end, I think I lean towards the Thorens because I think most new turntables are overpriced (and over rated) compared to many of the classic turntables.
