So , I'm visiting a guy who lives in almost a Mac mansion. Open plan floor with wife and one kid in the kitchen . In this spacious space filled with useless furniture nobody in right mind would think about using and they don't. It's there just to fill the space and look good , showy and appropriate expensive . Close to a corner , by the wall there is an Audio Setup . Tinny mini monitors on stands and integrated amp. "She only allows me to have this" he whispers looking sheepishly toward the kitchen . Than he plays some moderately quiet music and ask anxiously " what do you think ? "what do I think about what ? " I ask even though I perfectly know the anxiety. Well, "very nice" I say looking sheepishly toward the kitchen and quickly finish the business which brought me there and speed back to my cave to troll on vinyl forum and offend good people with lovely understanding wives , Klipschorns in workers houses and all possible junk occupying tinny spaces , people with often modest means but still enthusiastic . Not cool , not cool at all..:)
