Between garage sales and the flea market there are more records at one to three bucks than I have time to look through, but occasionally I do and I'll buy a short stack. If one or two are keepers I consider it a success.
I take the others and put them on CL and am always able to get my money back.
Once a year I treat myself (or someone treats me to) to a new record. Last year was David Crosby's "Croz". This year its the Mo-Fi "Abraxas".
I have so many stellar sounding records that I bought new 30 to 40 years ago for four to six bucks that its hard to pay today's prices, often times for an inferior pressing.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
