This little vac gets the job done, use distilled water if you want, but I rarely do. If the LP still as noise from dirt, do a second cleaning. I used my KAB with a small Dirt Devil hand held vacuum. After a year I found a Nitty Gritty 2.5fi for $79, cheap because it needed some simple repair. The KAB did the same good job of cleaning vinyl as the Nitty Gritty, just a little less convenient.
