It's simple. Connect your tonearm cable to the input and the output to a high level input on your preamp. Tubes do need to burn in to sound their best. Just play music and enjoy. You may or may not notice improved sound as they settle in. If there is any hum. Try with and without a ground wire and move the phono stage around for quietest performance.
