I don't have that many LP's, maybe 3,000 or so. But I am in my mid 60's and I don't want my family to have to deal with it once I am gone. I hate to see all the Classic Record reissues, Living Stereos, Emarcys and Mercurys go to the Goodwill. I will give it a few more years and then deal with it. Probably try Ebay, priced low enough to sell.
It's difficult to determine what they are actually worth these days. Ebay has been a place to buy and sell, but is also a place where everyone lists there "valuable" and "collector" LP's at inflated prices. Listed for free at high prices for months and months, over and over, ad nauseum/infinitum. I think that as time goes on, there are fewer and fewer real collectors of LP's willing to pay higher and higher prices.
Hopefully my vintage turntables won't decrease in value as much as my LP's!
