Love the tape input

I really like the tape input and outputs on the SP-14, I'm finally using my Pioneer RT-707 tape deck nearly as much as my turntables. You won't be disappointed. I did have some tube connectivity issues in the beginning, but finally got all the pins making solid contact. It uses a 6X5 rectifier and Don recommends the Bendix 5852. I have had a few preamps with 6SN7 tubes, excellent sounding tube.
