I also have a dedicated listening area, it's not really as large as I would like, but it works. Mine's in the basement, concrete floor, brick walls helps with bass impact for sure. We just spent the last 6 weeks putting fresh paint and a laying a new linoleum floor. The area stays cool in the summer.
