RE: A Puzzelment

Almost sounds like a cartridge suspension issue. I had a similar issue when a Monster Genesis 1000 cartridge starting skipping and the cantilever seemed to vibrate when on the LP. Turned out the suspension failed. Hope your problem isn't your Ortofon.
