I've been listening to an old Empire 900 GT cartridge that came with a turntable I bought. A web search indicates not much information. Found a post on the top of the line 1000 GT wherein someone was giving one away for free, which doesn't seem to indicate these are desirable cartridges. I'd like to know anything that you can tell me about the 900 GT. Was this a high end cartridge? What is their reputation like? Are they decent? Original specs? Was this a cartridge made by another manufacturer and re-branded? I would also be interested in buying either of the two to conduct comparisons if you happen to have one lying around.
