I also have a Jim Campbell rebuilt TD124. Mine is always a bit off when I turn it on, takes about 10 minutes before the speed is dead on. I just leave the strobe adjust where it is, the speed is a tad slow on start-up, but gradually comes up. It's such a small amount, I don't really notice.
