Empire Brass

I played in a few brass quintets many years ago. Always enjoyed the early Empire Brass recordings. The ones on Sine Qua Non label are exceptional. They also have one labeled Russian Brass, it has the Victor Ewald quintets, it's a great recording of brass.

Also the New York Brass with Gerard Schwarz is legendary. Canadian Brass are pretty good, a bit commercial. Phillip Jones LP's are also good.
