I just picked up an Audio Technica AT-7V body without a stylus. I know that this unit takes an ATN-7V replacement needle. However, I have read that anything from the 100 series will work. What I am seeking is a warm, smooth, and round sound. I don't care about detail retrieval. Thus said, I found a post last night where someone was claiming to have smoothed out the sound by using a compatible conical AT stylus in this body, but now I can't find the message I was reading. Can anyone tell me which spherical/conical styli will work in the AT-7V body and which are the best ones to use? Thank you!!!!
