I sent my 103D to Andy in Bellevue, he installed a rosewood body and inspected the stylus, it still had some life. He can install an alloy cantilever with a micro line stylus for about $220. He has retipped several cartridges for me, does good work. I have also used Soundsmith. You have a few options.

There is an Ebay seller who has wood bodies for Denon 103's for about $80.
