I haven't found anything that comes close, maybe the Ortofon 2M Black. But I paid about $175 for the used Nagaoka MP-50 I use, the 2M Black is a lot more money. The Nagaoka MP-500 is even more money than the Ortofon. I've never heard the MP-500, but I imagine it's at least as good as the MP-50.
If you can include moving iron, the Soundsmith Boheme beats any moving magnet I have owned. It should, at it's price point.
