Finally found a good used Garrard 301 for a reasonable amount of cash, sold the old arm that was on it along with the mono Fairchild cartridge to recoup some money. Made a new base and installed a good used arm, WOW, there is a reason everyone wants these, dead quiet with good speed stability. I put new oil in the bearing well and will eventually install the Kokomo bearing upgrade. I am surprised I haven't had to do anything else to it, it even came with new levers.Excited!
